Promote shift-left testing culture and work with TDD/BDD We are looking for a QA \- Test Automation Engineer to join an American company, playing a strategic role in ensuring platform quality, reliability, and performance. This position is ideal for candidates with strong test automation experience, who thrive in agile environments and aim to directly impact product quality through best practices and innovation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, as well as collaborating closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to implement robust testing strategies. We seek a candidate with critical thinking, a strong quality focus, and who takes ownership in evolving QA practices. * Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API, UI, and integration testing * Create and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and Postman * Ensure comprehensive test coverage (functional, regression, and performance) * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) * Perform performance and load testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling) * Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements for performance and scalability * Support security testing initiatives (OWASP, penetration tests, API validation) * Define and evolve QA standards and best practices * Promote shift\-left testing culture * Collaborate with teams on TDD and BDD practices * Create and maintain test dashboards and quality metrics * Partner with developers, PMs, and QAs * Provide consultative support in defect prevention * Actively participate in agile ceremonies Requirements: * 3+ years of experience in test automation within agile environments * Experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium * Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, Java, or C\# * Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins) * Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) * Familiarity with tools such as Postman or RestAssured * Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6, or Gatling) * Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) * Basic security knowledge (OWASP, vulnerability testing, API Security) * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Fluent English Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments * Experience with contract testing (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract) * Knowledge of AI-powered test automation * Experience in fintechs, payments, or complex platforms * ISTQB certification
