Job Summary: We are seeking a Laser Operator to work in a metallurgical plant, operating a laser cutting machine for processing metal sheets and parts. Key Highlights: 1. Monitor material utilization and part nesting We are seeking a Laser Operator to join our metallurgical plant to operate a laser cutting machine for processing sheets and parts used in the manufacture of auto-rescue platforms and other metal structures. Main Responsibilities: * Operate laser cutting machine to cut metal sheets and parts; * Perform basic adjustments and monitor equipment operation during production; * Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and production orders; * Properly load and position sheets on the machine; * Inspect cut parts, verifying dimensions, finish, and cut quality; * Sort, identify, and organize produced parts for subsequent departments; * Monitor material utilization and proper part nesting during the cutting process; * Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the machine and work area; * Report equipment malfunctions, irregularities, or maintenance needs; * Adhere to company safety, quality, and productivity standards. Desired Qualifications: * Experience operating laser cutting machines; * Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings; * Basic understanding of metrology, measurements, and part inspection; * Attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment to quality; * Prior experience in metallurgy is a plus.
