Job Description: * Assist the cook in pre-preparation and food preparation activities; * Assist in preparing foods on the grill, fryer, oven, and stove; * Assist in replenishing food at the sales counter; * Train and supervise new employees in the position (mentor program); * Prepare food, controlling quality and paying attention to taste according to the established menu; * Control inventory of goods, requesting necessary restocking; * Carry out kitchen tasks, applying correct methods of handling, hygiene, and food preservation as per the company's food handling and production manual; * Remove and place products and food items from the refrigerated chamber and meat room; * Perform cleaning of equipment, facilities, and utensils whenever necessary; * Wash dishes, pots, and other kitchen utensils; * Perform cleaning of equipment, facilities, and utensils whenever necessary; * Perform the pre-preparation of the next day's menu items; * Record daily the quantity of leftover food unsuitable for use; * Remove waste from the area and place it in the designated collection location; * Report to department leadership any need for maintenance or repair of machinery, electrical and plumbing systems; * Participate in meetings and training sessions defined by department leadership and management.
