Key Responsibilities: \- Assist patients during transportation from stretcher to operating table and vice\-versa, as well as during positioning, ensuring privacy and maintaining patency of catheters and tubes; \- Assist in surgical team gowning and observe aseptic technique when opening sterile supplies; \- Circulate in operating rooms, preparing them as required; \- Support the nurse in systematic prevention and control of physical injuries that may occur to patients during healthcare delivery; \- Be familiar with the surgical schedule, knowing which surgeries are scheduled for the assigned operating room, their respective times, and whether special equipment or supplies have been requested. ### **Prerequisites** Required: Technical nursing course.
