Job Summary: The Project Analyst will participate in the planning and implementation of projects, monitor activities, prepare responses to funding agencies, and review procurement and payment processes. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in the planning and implementation of projects with researchers. 2. Monitor project activities and resolve pending issues. 3. Work at a foundation supporting science & technology (S&T) and innovation. **Who We Are:** For 50 years, Fundep has served as the support foundation of UFMG, managing research, teaching, extension, and institutional development projects. Authorized also to support other national science and technology institutions, Fundep acts as a bridge connecting diverse stakeholders across the S&T and innovation landscape. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a **Project Analyst**, you will be responsible for: * Participating in meetings with the Project Negotiation Department to plan project implementation with researchers; * Planning project timelines, budgets, procurement, and personnel payments in coordination with the Coordination team; * Implementing projects; * Providing technical user training to researchers and their teams to enable system operation; * Monitoring activities outlined in each project; * Contacting researchers via phone calls, emails, or meetings; * Managing project closure through the predefined closure workflow, resolving pending items, and coordinating with other departments; * Preparing responses to funding agency inquiries via official letters and technical and documentary analysis; * Reviewing procurement and payment requests by analyzing documentation, verifying approvals, processing requests, and forwarding them to the responsible department; * Analyzing purchase requisitions, monitoring executed items, and resolving pending ones. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management Processes, Law, or related fields; * Experience as a Project Analyst; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Basic knowledge of Labor Legislation; * Experience in budgetary analysis processes; * Practical experience with performance indicators; * Knowledge of project management tools and techniques. **Desirable:** * Knowledge of Compliance; * Knowledge of the Third Sector; * Knowledge of Funding Agencies’ regulations. **Additional Information** Benefits and advantages: * Free parking or transportation allowance aligned with individual needs; * Meal allowance/food voucher — including during vacation periods; * Breakfast and afternoon snack; * Collective life and personal accident insurance; * Medical and hospital assistance; * Extended paternity leave; * Day-Off: one paid day off granted on your birthday; * Partnership with Drogaria Araújo pharmacy chain; * Membership in UFMG’s CEU Club; * Discounts on UFMG extension courses.
