**Job Description – Production Operator (Cutting and Bending)** **Job Mission** Perform cutting and bending operations on metallic materials, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards according to the company's established procedures. **Main Activities and Responsibilities** * Operate sheet metal/metal cutting and bending machines (shear, press brake, saw, among others). * Perform measurements and markings on materials according to technical drawings or production orders. * Interpret drawings, work orders, and technical specifications. * Adjust machine parameters to ensure process accuracy. * Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of produced parts, ensuring quality and tolerances. * Handle movement (loading/unloading) of raw materials and finished products. * Separate, identify, and organize cut/bent parts. * Comply with safety regulations, correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE). * Assist in basic preventive maintenance activities on equipment. * Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area. **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Complete High School (technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields is desirable). * **Experience:** Prior experience in production, preferably in metal cutting and bending. * **Knowledge:** * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Familiarity with measuring instruments (caliper, tape measure, square); * Basic knowledge of occupational safety. **Behavioral Competencies** * Attention to detail; * Responsibility; * Proactiveness; * Teamwork; * Discipline and organization. **Working Conditions** * Industrial environment, with exposure to noise and material handling; * Mandatory use of PPE; * Shift work, according to the company's defined schedule.
