Prepare and operate CNC cutting machines according to pre-defined programming, making adjustments and parameter corrections as necessary, ensuring quality and improving production times. * Inspect machines (adjustment, calibration, cleaning) according to the Work Order to begin a production shift, performing machine adjustments and controls; * Verify that materials allocated for cutting comply with specifications stated in the Work Order; * Operate the machine according to the established operating procedure, taking care of, maintaining, and cleaning it to preserve the machinery in its original condition. * Monitor the cutting process closely to prevent possible deviations that could result in material waste or machine damage. * Adjust cutting parameters, speed, and gas pressure during the process to maintain established quality standards. * Install and inspect cutting consumables (lenses and nozzles) before and during operation. * Perform measurements (using calipers, tape measures, etc.) on parts to verify compliance with drawings. * Support maintenance processes by reporting potential problems and deviations resulting from machine or equipment failures, providing operational information to maintenance personnel. * Assist in monitoring area performance indicators by completing spreadsheets and performance reports, sharing information with the area manager. * Immediately inform the direct supervisor whenever irregularities in the machine are observed, so necessary maintenance can be performed, thereby preserving work equipment. * Support immediate management on matters related to the operator’s area of responsibility, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities as needed to assist in defining procedures and actions to be implemented. * Comply with safety regulations and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with internal standards. * Guide new employees on activities inherent to the area whenever necessary, accompanying them and facilitating their understanding of equipment. * Participate in training sessions when required, dedicating full attention to achieve the desired work performance.
