This professional works analytically to identify opportunities for improving inventory processes. To perform these duties, knowledge of inventory management systems and data analysis skills are required. * Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory items and compare results with system records. * Identify and correct discrepancies between physical inventory and system-recorded inventory. * Analyze inventory data to identify patterns and optimization opportunities. * Prepare reports summarizing counting and analytical results. * Propose improvements to inventory control processes to reduce losses and increase efficiency. * Participate in physical inventories and internal and external audits. * Maintain warehouse organization and ensure accurate product identification. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory data integrity. * Monitor product life cycles to identify replenishment and disposal needs. * Attend training and capacity-building sessions related to inventory and stock management.
