Guide teams and control quality Professional responsible for supporting the inspection and technical monitoring of road infrastructure construction and service execution, including civil works, maintenance, improvements, and expansions. Verifies service compliance with designs, technical specifications, ABNT standards, DER/SP guidelines, current legislation, and regulatory agency requirements, conducting field inspections at various construction phases, assessing material quality, execution methods, technological control, and proper development of construction processes. Performs quantity control, measurements, and physical schedule monitoring, supporting the responsible engineer in contractual inspection, recording incidents, non-conformities, and deviations, as well as proposing corrective actions. Guides internal and third-party teams on best execution practices, occupational safety, road signage, and QSSMA and compliance requirements, preparing and maintaining updated technical reports, daily logs, photographic records, and other documents required for appropriate construction monitoring. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support monitoring of civil works, maintenance, improvements, and expansions of road infrastructure. * Assist in verifying compliance of executed services with designs, technical specifications, ABNT standards, current legislation, and regulatory agency requirements. * Inspect services related to initial phases of road construction projects, such as earthworks, drainage, OAE, road signage, and support structures. This professional must monitor service execution according to approved designs, verifying technical compliance and work quality. * Monitor each stage of each type of service, ensuring adherence to methods established in DER/SP Technical Standards and Specifications and other applicable regulations defining all service execution criteria—from selection and verification of materials extracted from soil deposits, sand, and quarries, as well as industrialized materials (asphalt binders, cement, etc.), to the execution method to be applied and the required technological control methodology to meet project requirements. * Perform quantity control of construction works, supporting the responsible engineer in monthly measurements of contracted services, and informing him/her of incidents occurring on site (non-conformities, design modifications, etc.), verifying quantities performed by contractors using tape measures, start/end stakes, and requesting surveying team support. * Notify the contractor, suspend or authorize work fronts, reject/approve tests, clarify design doubts, and represent the responsible engineer on highly complex construction fronts. * Support control and monitoring of construction physical schedules. * Conduct monitoring activities to identify, in advance, trends in construction progress, enabling timely action against potential risks affecting project advancement. * Conduct field surveys, measurements of completed services, and verification of quantities. * Support inspection of construction and service contracts, verifying compliance with established technical scopes. * Monitor internal and third-party teams, guiding them on best execution practices, quality, and occupational safety. * Require contractors to execute services safely, demanding appropriate signage across all construction work fronts, verifying accuracy of temporary, intermediate, and permanent signage implementation—including signs, devices, and pavement markings per DER/SP Signage Manual—and systematically reporting signage conditions to the Concessionaire via daily logs; also verify suitability, cleanliness, and maintenance conditions of construction signage. * Assess quality of materials used and correctness of construction process execution. * Conduct input acceptance inspections, concrete pour mapping, completion of all service reports (foundations, prestressing, CP casting, daily logs, etc.), as well as daily, photographic, and incident reports. * Support compliance with **Health, Safety, and Environmental** standards, identifying risks and recording non-conformities. * Prepare and maintain updated technical reports, controls, photographic records, and construction monitoring spreadsheets. * Ensure compliance with clauses of current contracts between the Concessionaire and contractors. * Record all relevant events observed on site, as well as executed services, in the respective “Daily Log”; * Comply with internal regulations, QSSMA standards and procedures, as well as compliance requirements, observations, and applicable corporate regulations, and perform other duties inherent to the position or assigned by immediate supervisor, provided the candidate is qualified and such duties align with his/her knowledge and experience. * Report deviations or non-conformities identified during service execution and propose corrective actions. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed technical course in Building Construction, Highways, Civil Construction, or related fields.
