Job Summary: We are seeking a PCP Assistant to support Planning and Production Control routines in an industrial toy manufacturing environment. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as Production and Maintenance **We are looking for a PCP Assistant** We seek a professional to support Planning and Production Control routines in an industrial toy manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment among demand, production capacity, component inventory levels, and continuity of assembly lines. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor's or technologist degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields; * Basic knowledge of Production Planning and Control (PCP); * ERP system experience; * Knowledge of inventory control and material flow; * Familiarity with technical specifications and product structures; * Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets for control purposes. **Desirable Qualifications (Advantages):** * Understanding of production sequencing in high-volume environments; * Knowledge of machine capacity analysis, especially injection molding machines; * Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes including plastic injection, assembly, and finishing; * Experience managing demand seasonality (production peaks); * Experience with production performance indicators. **Responsibilities:** * Support production planning according to demand, production capacity, and resource availability; * Analyze machine loading and identify bottlenecks, particularly in injection and assembly processes; * Release, sequence, monitor, and close Production Orders (POs) in the ERP system and on the shop floor; * Control component inventories to prevent shortages, overstocks, and production line stoppages; * Update spreadsheets and supporting PCP control tools; * Monitor component production against consumption by toy manufacturing lines; * Support Technical Assistance service requests and technical spare parts orders; * Participate in daily PCP meetings and assist with production rescheduling; * Track machine, mold, and tool availability in coordination with Maintenance and Tooling departments; * Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics departments; * Perform other duties related to the role. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Organization and attention to detail; * Analytical ability and logical reasoning; * Agility in handling high volumes and shifting priorities; * Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation; * Sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines. **Additional Advantages:** * Prior experience in the toy, plastics, or consumer goods industry; * Knowledge of plastic injection and serial assembly processes; * Familiarity with continuous improvement, standardization, and visual control.
