We are seeking a professional to coordinate the Purchasing and Packaging Engineering areas, promoting operational efficiency, team development, and excellence in delivery.
**Purchasing Coordinator**
**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:**
* Coordinate and supervise purchasing activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and internal policies;
* Lead, develop, and monitor team performance, fostering continuous training and alignment with company objectives;
Plan and execute procurement strategies for materials, products, supplies, and services, ensuring efficient operational supply;

* Coordinate packaging engineering team activities, ensuring technical alignment, team development, and timely delivery;
* Collaborate closely with the Packaging Engineering team to support development, specification, and continuous improvement processes, with a focus on cardboard packaging;
* Conduct negotiations with strategic suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms, reduce costs, and mitigate risks;
Identify, qualify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure competitiveness, quality, and supply continuity;

* Monitor departmental performance indicators and propose corrective actions and opportunities for continuous improvement;
Ensure procurement processes comply with internal standards, compliance requirements, audits, and legal regulations;

* Partner with internal departments to define requirements, technical specifications, and purchase priorities;
* Manage supplier contracts, verifying validity, price adjustments, renewals, and adherence to agreed-upon clauses;
* Identify savings opportunities, standardization initiatives, and total acquisition cost optimization;
Participate in strategic supply chain projects, digital transformation initiatives, and process improvement efforts;

* Prepare reports, market analyses, and executive presentations to support decision-making.
**What we expect from you?**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or related fields;
* Postgraduate degree;
* Advanced Excel proficiency;
* SAP system knowledge is desirable;
* Experience in an industrial environment;
* Technical knowledge of cardboard packaging and related packaging development processes.
