Founded in 1993, it began with the mission of captivating at first glance. #JoinCromus **About the position** Perform high-complexity mechanical maintenance tasks, including periodic visits to production areas, analyzing requests from internal customers, replacing components, parts, and devices as needed, or coordinating third-party maintenance services—ensuring proper equipment operation within appropriate timeframes and minimizing production downtime. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with the department supervisor on the development of mechanical systems projects, defining improvement and adaptation plans for existing factory machinery; assign tasks to the involved team; guide other technicians in more complex cases; specify required materials and equipment according to budget; develop chronological project plans; and monitor project execution to ensure productivity optimization; * Supervise and perform assembly of new machines and equipment; guide other technicians in more complex cases; interpret manuals and technical drawings; carry out dimensional layout adjustments; identify potential design flaws; propose modifications; conduct functional tests; document any irregularities; and prepare technical reports on completed work and abnormalities—ensuring proper operation of new equipment; * Participate in preventive maintenance planning together with the supervisor; guide other technicians in more complex cases; conduct regular inspections; define maintenance schedules; assign tasks to the involved team; assess material and equipment requirements; develop action plans; and monitor preventive maintenance execution to guarantee correct machine operation; * Perform corrective maintenance on factory machines and equipment; guide other technicians in more complex cases; rectify defects in mechanical components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; analyze required work procedures; consult technical specifications and standards; detect failures; replace parts and components; propose solutions to eliminate recurring failures; and ensure machines and equipment operate safely and productively; * Engage specialized technical support teams when necessary, monitor their activities, and provide relevant information about the machinery to ensure equipment operates as expected; * Manage the mechanical department’s spare parts inventory to ensure parts are available whenever needed; * Contact suppliers of materials, parts, devices, and mechanical tools to request quotations, obtain samples, receive suppliers at the factory, gather better purchasing information or solutions, and forward specifications to the immediate supervisor for approval and to the procurement department to ensure accurate purchases and optimal operation or improvement of factory equipment; * Operate forklifts, when necessary, to handle equipment inside the factory. * Attend training sessions related to the operation and maintenance of new or existing factory equipment, as well as safety regulations—conducted jointly with third-party maintenance technicians or original equipment manufacturers—to acquire knowledge of mechanical maintenance processes for machinery; **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering; * Easy access to Mauá/SP.
