Ensure proper operation and cleanliness of Terminal areas. **In addition:** * Organize, allocate, and optimize resources while implementing established planning—deploying human, technical, and material resources to meet demand and achieve pre-established unit goals, leveraging available resources and team members’ technical competencies. * Monitor and track completion of all operational process-related activities per defined procedures at each step, achieving productivity results with quality and full resource utilization. * Manage and control planning and scheduling to meet demand requirements through supervision of production activities, problem resolution, resource optimization, and cross-functional coordination. * Guide, monitor, and, when necessary, redirect team workloads in alignment with the area’s technical and operational needs to achieve pre-established objectives and goals. * Resolve operational issues as they arise and keep all stakeholders informed, consulting your manager whenever necessary for decision-making. * Ensure implementation and employee commitment to the Quality Assurance Program objectives by promoting related concepts and practices within your area. * Maintain team motivation and ensure appropriate levels of qualification and performance by identifying training/development needs among subordinates and participating in training program design with People & Management. * Maintain organized teams composed of qualified personnel through provision of training, supervision, motivation, and development of direct and indirect staff. * Conduct daily safety dialogues with employees, inspect equipment and working conditions across areas. * Authorize PTWs (Permit-to-Work documents for hazardous/critical tasks), verifying and validating necessity and forwarding for execution. * Monitor, follow up on, and encourage technical discussions, lessons-learned debates, and area-specific needs during periodic meetings—extending beyond occupational safety and productivity topics. * Track cargo movement records, daily incident reports, and other documentation to monitor workflow progress, identify potential deviations, and act promptly to achieve objectives. * Contribute to proper maintenance of facility machinery and equipment through cleaning, adjustments, etc., and engage Maintenance when required; also participate in scheduled shutdowns with operational support. * Ensure proper operation and cleanliness of Terminal areas in compliance with established standards. * Stay updated on port regulations to ensure the Unit operates fully within applicable legal frameworks. * Monitor smooth execution of operational team activities—including vessel handling, authority clearances, customer orders, and others—acting preventively to avoid operational issues. * Ensure physical integrity and safety of personnel, machinery, and equipment through observation, adherence to, and promotion of occupational health and safety norms and procedures. * Ensure all employees understand their responsibilities and comply with food quality and safety requirements, promoting participation in quality training and encouraging reporting of issues. * Guarantee and support compliance with Good Manufacturing, Transportation, and Storage Practices; 5S; operational procedures; and management systems; disseminate food quality and safety culture and policy; verify monitoring activities impacting food quality and safety; and ensure immediate and corrective action for observed deviations. * Participate actively—in case the employee belongs to the Food Safety Team (FST)—in meetings, HACCP study reviews, training sessions, and other defined responsibilities;
