Everyone is welcome to be themselves, because only when we differ from one another can we create solutions that keep up with a constantly changing world. **At Elgin, you don’t join just to work.** **You join to create the new.** **\#JoinElgin \#ElginMoreThanYouImagine** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems; * Work on machine tools, air compressors (screw and piston types), dryers, gas generation systems, autonomous robots, pumps, motors, servo drives, HMIs, PLCs, soft starters, automation sensors, gear reducers, gas burners, and line peripherals; * Repair pneumatic machinery (riveters, jackhammers, ratchet wrenches, nailers, strapping tools, etc.); * Install and repair oxy-gas welding components, replace torches, valves, hoses, and welding line peripherals; handle, operate, and replace pressurized gas cylinders; * Conduct inspections, reviews/adjustments, and replacement of electrical and mechanical components according to maintenance and corrective plans; * Maintain and install electrical control, power, command, and protection systems compliant with NR-12, meeting grounding, lightning protection (SPDA), and equipotential bonding requirements; * Carry out electrical and pneumatic infrastructure work (cable routing, air/gas/liquid piping, lighting, panel assembly, distribution boards, and networks); * Operate electrical and mechanical measurement and diagnostic instruments (torque wrench, oscilloscope, megohmmeter, wattmeter, multimeter, clamp ammeter); * Ensure compliance with safety regulations (NR-10, NR-12, NR-13, NR-33, NR-35, and SEP) and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures; * Support commissioning of new machinery and installations; * Read, interpret (and occasionally prepare) technical drawings, layouts, sketches, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; * Document interventions technically in SAP PM system and specific forms. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical degree in Electromechanics or Mechatronics, or currently pursuing a related undergraduate degree; * NR-10 certification (mandatory); * Professional training courses covering technical standards (NR-12, NR-13, NR-33, NR-35) and Power Electrical Systems (SEP); * Knowledge of energy source isolation systems (NR-12); * Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical (single-line and multi-line diagrams), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings per standard technical symbols; * Basic Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word); * Familiarity with SAP ERP system, PM module (work order reporting); * *Availability/flexibility for overtime and shift rotation (1st and/or 2nd shift) as required by production line needs and demand.* **Additional Information** * On-site cafeteria; * Shuttle service; * Parking; * Life insurance; * Health plan for you and your dependents; * Optional dental plan for you and your dependents; * Total Pass for you and your dependents; * Discounts on Elgin products. **At Elgin, technology goes beyond every stitch—** **it is born from our passion for doing things differently and better, every day.** We are a proudly Brazilian company with over 70 years of history, moving forward with the energy of those who are always just beginning.
