Job Summary: Responsible for the entire import documentation process, projecting a professional company image and ensuring customs compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Generate and submit cargo manifests to customs systems. 2. Ensure customs compliance and avoid penalties. 3. Interact with clients and authorities regarding import processes. **Job Description and Objectives:** Position Objective Responsible for the entire import documentation process. Project a professional company image through telephone and email interactions. 2\) Key Responsibilities and Duties 1\. Generate IRIS 4 EDI 3\.1 for Connect Sea (import cargo from abroad to Brazil and transit cargo from abroad to BUE/MVD). 2\. Ensure all mandatory information—such as CNPJ, first POL, first vessel, transshipment port, transshipment vessel, NCM, tare weight, gross weight, M3, and fees—is properly transferred to Modall to avoid customs penalties and negative impacts on our clients. 3\. Submit the cargo manifest to the customs system (import cargo from abroad to Brazil and transit cargo from abroad to BUE/MVD). 4\. Send relevant documents to terminal operators and authorities so they may discharge all cargoes in accordance with regulations. 5\. Issue the Dangerous Cargo Declaration in the PSP System (Port Authority System) after the automatic transfer of the cargo manifest from the Customs System. 6\. Close the vessel in IRIS and Modall. 7\. Submit the Cargo Manifest to Datamar (Statistics Company). 8\. Send the Arrival Notice to the client via the Modall System. 9\. Read and respond daily to emails and phone calls from external and internal clients regarding amendment requests until the cargo manifest is submitted to the Customs System. 10\. Manually enter local fees into IRIS when required (primarily the Amendment Fee). 11\. Read and respond daily to emails and phone calls from external and internal clients on various topics and regarding amendment requests after submission of the cargo manifest to the Customs System. 12\. Follow the current Import Documentation Procedure for LCL shipments with CSSC (specialized carriers) and Hongfa. 13\. Submit and monitor the correction process via the E\-CAC Customs System. 14\. Act in accordance with the company’s standard policies and operational procedures. 15\. Protect the company’s assets and interests and maintain all equipment under your responsibility.
