Founded in 1993, it began with the mission of captivating at first glance. #JoinCromus **About the position** Prepare cutting and welding machines by performing cleaning, adjustments, and replacing tools, fixtures, and performing mechanical maintenance on the machines as needed; record the entire preparation and maintenance process on technical sheets to ensure proper machine operation during manufacturing. **Responsibilities** * Prepare cutting and welding machines by cleaning rollers and sealers, replacing knives and corrugated roller chains as needed, adjusting welding time, and performing other high-complexity adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and setup; * Conduct assessments of preventive maintenance needs, listing required services and parts for scheduling maintenance activities; * Test cutting and welding machines by loading materials (flexible films) and adjusting folding triangles that fold paper to ensure high-quality cuts and welds on flexible films and prevent damage; * Adjust photoelectric sensors on cutting and welding machines for customized and specific products to ensure accurate marking of flexible films and label placement, as well as precise, consistent product cutting at the same location; * Adjust glue applicators on cutting and welding machines, regulating the appropriate amount of adhesive for product and packaging sealing; * Support all cutting and welding machine operators during production, assisting with complex machine adjustments; * Complete technical maintenance request forms, recording necessary information to comply with Maintenance Department control procedures; * Perform mechanical maintenance (corrective, preventive, and scheduled) on cutting and welding machines—replacing mechanical parts and conducting repairs—and document all actions to ensure machines and equipment operate productively and safely; * Guide the Cutting and Welding Department team, informing them about equipment operation and procedures when machine panel language changes, thereby sharing technical knowledge and ensuring correct operation; * Contact suppliers of materials, parts, fixtures, and mechanical tools, evaluating product quality and delivery timelines to forward relevant information to the Purchasing Department for quotation and procurement, thereby ensuring proper equipment operation or improvements; * Monitor parts suppliers and service providers, verifying activity execution and providing pertinent information regarding machinery to ensure proper equipment operation; * Manage spare parts inventory for the department, assessing available part quantities, recording stock levels on inventory cards, and requesting replenishment when necessary to ensure part availability. * Develop new fixtures for cutting and welding machines based on technical specifications for specific products to optimize productivity and the production process; * Provide support to Maintenance Department activities as required and upon supervisor’s request to ensure optimal departmental performance. **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Mechanics; * Easy access to Mauá/SP.
