Job Summary: Responsible for all documentation and port procedures related to maritime cargo transshipment, ensuring efficient transfer between vessels and customer service. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination with terminals and partner shipping lines Position Objective * Responsible for all documentation and port procedures related to maritime cargo transshipment conducted at Brazilian ports. * Transshipment involves the transfer of cargo between vessels to facilitate access to destinations not served by direct routes or when cargo, due to contingency reasons, fails to discharge at its intended destination. 2\) Main Responsibilities and Duties 1\. Responsible for the entire transshipment process of full containers between Brazilian ports, North/Central America, and South America (COSCO and OOCL), when direct routes are unavailable or when cargo—due to contingency reasons such as omission, damage, or government agency detention—fails to discharge at its contracted destination port. 2\. Provide customer service and support for inquiries regarding full-container transshipment cargo, once the cargo has already been connected to the contracted transportation service at origin. 3\. Provide terminal-based service for routine requests and inquiries related to transshipment cargo. 4\. Keep terminals updated with container quantities and transshipment vessel information (for both Import and Export) prior to vessel berthing. 5\. Request space on transshipment vessels from internal teams (Capacity, Booking Counter) for allocation from North/Central America to South America. 6\. Consult partner shipping lines (LOG\-IN / MERCOSUL LINE / NORCOAST) regarding feeder vessel loading procedures and demand approval. 7\. Carry out booking request procedures with partner shipping lines (LOG\-IN / MERCOSUL LINE / NORCOAST). 8\. Submit information required for financial billing procedures to the partner shipping line (LOG\-IN / MERCOSUL LINE / NORCOAST). 9\. Submit relevant information for refrigerated cargo, overweight cargo, and hazardous cargo to the partner shipping line LOG\-IN / MERCOSUL LINE / NORCOAST. 10\. Submit relevant information for refrigerated, overweight, and hazardous cargo to terminals and agents involved in the process. 11\. Carry out procedures with competent authorities and customs systems (for import and export cargo) in cases of transshipment at Brazilian ports, and inform relevant terminals about vessel loading (PSP / MERCANTE / E\-CAC / SISCARGA). 12\. Carry out and request exemption authorization procedures from partner shipping lines. 13\. Update the internal system (Iris4\) for routes where cargo is transshipped at Brazilian ports. 14\. Support COSCO and OOCL customer service teams with relevant information regarding vessel connections in cases of omitted berthing at Brazilian ports. 15\. Fully manage documentary procedures with competent authorities for transshipment involving imports, exports, federal agency detention, berthing omissions, and defective units discharged at Brazilian ports bound for overseas destinations. 16\. Develop the process for removing intraterminal hazardous cargo units subject to stay restrictions. 17\. Update headquarters reports (KPIs) related to transshipment cargo handled at Brazilian ports. 18\. Update transshipment vessel records in internal systems for shipments from North/Central America to South America.
