To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTube **Position:** Senior Cost Analyst **Key Responsibilities Summary:** Provide support to managers on financial and accounting matters; analyze and monitor production postings and production orders; conduct inventory monitoring and inspection activities; analyze unit costs and expenses; perform accounting entries related to costs and inventory; analyze and calculate industrial costs for the unit; analyze product profitability; prepare inventory reports and statements; prepare cost monitoring reports, analyze major monthly expenditures; calculate standard product costs; interface with Bloco K; prepare and analyze product margins; prepare management reports; support accounting audits. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide support to managers on financial and accounting matters, advising and clarifying questions regarding expense allocation, accounting reclassifications, and other items to ensure accurate control of expenses and production costs in the MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; * Analyze and monitor production postings and production orders, verifying production order closures, reviewing balancing, identifying potential variances, and requesting corrections when necessary to ensure proper control of production costs; * Conduct inventory monitoring and inspection activities, as well as report reconciliation, to ensure compliance with procedures and policies and accuracy of inventory control; * Analyze company costs and expenses, verifying and analyzing quantities, values, classifications, comparing budgeted versus actual figures, and requesting corrections when needed to ensure accurate calculation of production costs; * Perform accounting entries related to costs and inventory for temporary accounts, reconciling values and verifying adjustment needs to ensure correct company financial closing; * Analyze and calculate industrial costs for the unit, verifying expense postings, production postings, and other inputs to ensure accuracy of per-product costs; * Analyze production costs per product, verifying differences between budgeted and actual figures, and requesting updates to product master data to maintain up-to-date standard costs for company financial management; * Prepare inventory reports and statements, analyzing data and compiling information to facilitate company inventory management; * Conduct expense and cost studies, analyzing major monthly expenditures, performing comparisons, and reviewing consumption trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction; * Calculate standard costs for new products, verifying characteristics, specifications, projected costs, and accounting classifications to enable accurate cost forecasting in company processes; * Interface with Bloco K, preparing data and executing communication routines to keep company tax obligations current; * Prepare and analyze product margins, reviewing costs, sales, discounts, inventory, and other factors to support company financial and commercial management; * Prepare management reports, analyzing and compiling data and information, preparing presentations to facilitate company management; * Support accounting audits, preparing reports and documents to ensure compliance with requirements; * Mandatory use of all PPE and uniforms, as established by the company and under NR\-1 service orders. **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong interpersonal skills * Results-oriented * Customer-focused * Influencing ability **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields * Advanced Excel * Power BI (dashboard creation) * SAP system proficiency * Languages: Advanced English **About Amcor** Amcor is the global leader in developing and producing responsible consumer packaging and dispensing solutions across a variety of materials for nutrition, health, beauty and wellness categories.
