Responsible for assembling and packaging parts and/or products; Identifying packages; Performing packaging records; Requesting materials and supplies; Handling materials; and other similar activities. **Responsibilities and duties** Perform packaging of parts and/or products, checking assembly order, type and code, using cardboard and/or wooden packaging, identifying and carrying out proper packing according to defined standards, aiming to ensure material integrity. Identify packages, verifying quantities and information, and attaching labels, in order to prepare for shipment. Perform packaging records, registering name, date, quantities, productive and non-productive times, rejected parts and reasons, in order to provide information for statistical control of the assembly process. Request materials and supplies (under guidance) as needed and required. Handle materials, using manual carts, overhead cranes, hoists, electric and/or hydraulic pallet trucks. Keep immediate supervisor informed about activity progress, requesting machine maintenance, clarifying doubts and/or suggesting corrective actions for identified issues. Dispose of waste properly according to internal procedures. Comply with company rules, quality and occupational safety procedures. Keep workplace, machines and/or equipment clean and organized.
