Ensuring safety and efficiency on the ground Description: * Completed high school education; * Good interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability to assess situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and ambulation throughout the entire operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, loading and unloading aircraft with baggage and cargo, signaling around the flight being serviced, inspection and floor sweeping to collect fallen objects, and auditory perception for identifying audible signals from equipment and machinery on the ramp. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational ability, data interpretation, and initiative to resolve causal situations. * Safeguard the aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and safeguard baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client Manual or dnata's MGO; * Through reading baggage and cargo identification labels (with or without technological assistance), segregate items in airport sorting areas to load them onto storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Load baggage and cargo into aircraft holds following norms and procedures outlined in the MGO, adhering to recommendations for special situations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable cargo); * Through reading volume identification labels, unload baggage and cargo and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate interline connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise packaging of cargo and baggage, verifying suitability for transportation to ensure flight and handler safety; * Correctly handle and properly allocate baggage and cargo within aircraft holds, observing internal retention and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions; * Service aircraft within established timeframes per service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and direct equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment anomalies during operations to supervisors. 2511010202241566281
