Visual quality inspections and product cleaning **Summary Description** Assist in machine operation and monitoring, supporting furniture assembly, cutting, finishing, edge banding, and packaging. Perform minor supervised repairs on furniture as needed, while consistently maintaining a clean and organized work environment. It is essential that the assistant possesses manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure products meet the company's established standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Assist in furniture assembly and disassembly, operating low-complexity production machinery and equipment, thereby contributing to more agile and efficient production. * Perform material and product loading/unloading activities, storing and warehousing items within the company according to instructions from an operator or supervisor, supporting overall organizational efficiency. * Prepare materials and components for the production process by selecting the raw materials required for that day’s work as specified in the work plan, ensuring the workspace is fully prepared for production. * Operate simple machine controls during production under supervision of Level 2 or Level 3 operators, activating only low-complexity commands; refrain from performing tasks when uncertain to prevent errors or accidents. * Conduct visual inspections of parts and finished products, assisting in quality verification and component integrity checks at the end of each sector-specific process to support quality control. * Clean and package finished products according to instructions and training, while also observing safety regulations for cleaning material usage to ensure optimal task execution without risk to personnel. * Collaborate in workplace organization and cleaning, performing periodic cleaning during the work shift—especially five (5) minutes before lunch break and ten (10) minutes prior to shift end—to prepare the area for the following day’s operations. * Record and manage inventory of materials and products, following supervisors’ instructions and guidelines regarding completion of material distribution control forms, enabling managers or supervisors to monitor product flow. * Comply with occupational safety and hygiene regulations, correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to established safety procedures to minimize accident risks and exposure to health hazards. * Support other departments to ensure smooth factory operations, providing assistance whenever necessary or directed by supervisors to complete company tasks, always aiming to fulfill orders within agreed deadlines. * Properly dispose of unused materials, observing separation of glass, aluminum, and wood to facilitate appropriate recycling and disposal per material type. * Safeguard personal and shared company-provided items—including tools, uniforms, and common areas such as restrooms—and assume responsibility for loss or damage occurring within company premises. * Adhere to company policies and directives, as well as instructions issued by team leaders and supervisors; noncompliance may be classified as disciplinary misconduct. **Organizational Competencies** * Care * Passion * Tradition * Innovation **Technical Competencies** * Compliance with Standards * Learning Development * Production * Proficiency in Handling **Behavioral Competencies** * Cooperation * Attention to Detail * Discipline * Learning Orientation * Teamwork
