Responsibilities Inspect and test the entire hydraulic system; replace or repair equipment in case of leaks or damage; Inspect hydraulic pumps and motors; test equipment and perform lubrication as needed; Clean stormwater grates; inspect and clean sewage tanks and water storage tanks; Inspect internal and external lighting systems; replace light bulbs as needed; Inspect roller doors; lubricate, troubleshoot, and repair them; Perform minor masonry repairs, as well as room painting and ceiling restoration; Clean small-scale, easily accessible, and safe roof gutters; install waterproof membranes to eliminate leaks; tighten or replace screws. If necessary, consult the commercial team to assist in pricing agency fees and other charges; * Announcing the vessel to Port Authorities and/or Port Terminals by submitting an official standard form to formalize the vessel’s arrival at the port. In some locations, this procedure is performed via a specific website/system; * Informing the vessel's Captain about local procedures adopted by the port/terminal by sending an e\-mail to the vessel listing all port restrictions and providing guidance on procedures adopted by the Terminal, Agency, and Authorities (pre\-arrival documents, forms...); * Scheduling the vessel's berth plan with involved agents, Port Authorities, Terminals/Port Operators, Importers/Exporters/Traders, Pilots, Tugboats, and coordinating execution by notifying the terminal, pilots, and tugboat operators of the vessel's berth schedule based on the ETA provided by the Captain; * Releasing the vessel with Authorities by facilitating communication between the vessel, Terminal, and Authorities, presenting required documentation to release the vessel as quickly as possible, avoiding delays and disruptions; * Keeping clients and stakeholders updated on the vessel’s movement outlook, progress, issues, and production during the port call; * Representing and defending the client's operational interests when necessary, always aiming for efficiency and cost-effectiveness during the port call. Monitoring operations and communicating with involved parties to safeguard client interests and minimize the risk of unnecessary additional costs; * Addressing the vessel’s and crew’s operational needs (medical, dental, supplies, etc.) and facilitating communication with parties involved during the port call, handling requests made during the vessel’s stay and informing relevant stakeholders; * Hiring service providers upon request from the shipowner/Captain or client; * Preparing proformas according to agreements with the client; * Updating and preparing the daily lineup.
