




Job Summary: Professional to assist and operate MIG/MAG and electrode welding machines, preparing and finishing parts according to drawings and production orders. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and assistance in MIG/MAG and electrode welding 2. Preparation and finishing of welded parts 3. Control and requisition of welding materials Possesses basic knowledge to occasionally assist or operate machines for MIG/MAG and electrode welding to produce parts according to drawing specifications, production orders, and work instructions. Inspect and prepare parts to be welded, verifying specifications and drawings, and selecting the appropriate welding type to achieve standardized welds. Perform final finishing on welded parts by filing, grinding, or sanding worked areas according to drawings, production orders, and work instructions. Monitor usage/consumption of welding materials, specify and request required materials. Possesses basic knowledge to occasionally assist or operate low- to medium-complexity machines, tools, or equipment in the department to assemble parts according to drawing specifications, production orders, and work instructions.
