Our Research, Development and Innovation (R&D) area operates at the forefront of technologies applied to criminal investigation, focusing on data, artificial intelligence, and evidence visualization.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the architecture of systems and solutions developed by the R&D area;
* Design scalable and resilient applications, primarily using Python and Node.js;
* Support the definition of architectural standards and best practices, with emphasis on maintainability, adaptability, and security;
* Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and designers;
* Evaluate technical decisions based on strategic trade\-offs, prioritizing effective solutions for investigative and operational problems;
* Foster adoption of design systems, DevOps practices, and continuous integration;
* Support integration among modules, microservices, and APIs;
* Participate in structuring repositories, version control, and CI/CD pipelines;
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and peer technical review.
**Mandatory Requirements**
* Proven experience in software and distributed systems architecture;
* Proficiency in Node.js and Python;
* Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
* Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, containers, and messaging;
* Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.);
* Ability to operate in highly complex environments with large volumes of data;
* Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative environments;
* Strong technical communication skills, clarity in architectural documentation, and systemic vision;
* Ability to work with ambiguous scopes and adjust decisions in real time based on project findings.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Rust, Java, and/or Golang;
* Prior experience in environments with mature design systems;
* Knowledge of non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Neo4J, DynamoDB);
* Experience in R&D or public safety projects;
* Participation in mission-critical software projects,
* sensitive data, or high-variability data.
**Work Model:** Hybrid (preferably Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro)
