Our mission is to transform companies through people—and we’re looking for a **Software Engineer** to help us fulfill this mission. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Participating in meetings and events within your assigned team and across the company; * Using version control tools and keeping your tasks organized in Azure DevOps; * Performing bug fixes and improvements across various projects within the company context; developing small features within projects using object-oriented programming languages; * Conducting tests on your assigned tasks to ensure product quality and reduce issues reported by the QA team; * Reviewing code written by other team members to continuously drive technical improvement; * Applying best practices in development, unit testing, and integration testing; * Participating in requirement-gathering meetings for specific features; evaluating and proposing technical solutions to problems raised within the company; * Performing refactoring and improvements on legacy code while mapping potential project impact risks; * Contributing to the knowledge development of colleagues at junior, mid-level, and senior levels; * Estimating and mitigating impacts of more complex tasks; * Assisting other developers (Interns, Juniors, and Mid-levels) with onboarding, Code Reviews (CR), and Pair Programming—sharing coding standards and technologies used; * Supporting the Tech Lead in guiding the team on code quality. **For this position, we expect you to have:** * Solid experience in Java 8\+, JakartaEE, and Spring Boot development; * Experience with RabbitMQ/SQS; * Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB; * Experience with microservices and MVC architecture, plus knowledge of Clean Architecture; * Experience implementing unit tests; * Proficiency in Git / GitFlow; * Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Node.JS, Angular (12\+), and React; * Familiarity with AWS cloud services (ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda); * Knowledge of Redis. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with Glassfish/Payara application servers; * Knowledge of Apache Wicket and/or JavaServer Faces. **Still unsure whether Sólides is the right place for you?
