If you want to be the protagonist of your career in a dynamic and appreciative environment, this is the place for you. \#VemPraESAB **Responsibilities and duties** * Work in the technical area to identify opportunities for improving industrial processes. * Develop corrective actions and continuous improvement projects focused on performance, quality, and productivity. * Conduct analysis and resolution of process and product failures. * Analyze audit reports, performance indicators, and technical documents related to production processes. * Plan, coordinate, and monitor process improvement projects. * Develop and monitor schedules, ensuring execution within established deadlines. * Interface with production, quality, engineering, and manufacturing departments to support standardization and optimization of industrial processes. * Lead technical analyses and provide support in implementing improvements aimed at operational efficiency and waste reduction. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. * Postgraduate studies in Manufacturing, Welding, or Materials are desirable. * Experience in manufacturing processes, including extrusion and wire drawing. * Practical experience in failure analysis using methodologies such as Ishikawa, FMEA, and 5 Whys. * Solid knowledge of metallic materials, metal powders, fluxes, and alloys. * Knowledge of ISO 9001 and continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC). * Advanced Excel skills. * Basic knowledge of SAP (ERP). * Intermediate to advanced technical English for reading, writing, and speaking. **Desirable:** * Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Minitab and Power BI. **Additional information** At ESAB, we believe innovation emerges when extraordinary people unite with purpose.
