Job Summary: The Tax Assistant will provide support for tax-related routines, ensuring proper tax accounting, tax calculation, and compliance with ancillary obligations, in accordance with applicable legislation. Opportunity for organized professionals with attention to detail We are seeking a **Tax Assistant** to support tax-related routines, ensuring accurate tax accounting, tax calculation, and compliance with ancillary obligations, in accordance with current legislation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform tax accounting and verify incoming and outgoing invoices; * Issue electronic invoices and validate tax entries; * Assist in calculating municipal, state, and federal taxes (ICMS, ICMS\-ST, DIFAL, ISS, IPI, PIS, and COFINS); * Support preparation and submission of ancillary obligations, such as SPED Fiscal (EFD ICMS/IPI), EFD Contributions, DCTF Web, EFD\-Reinf, DAPI, DES, MIT, among others; * Verify tax payment slips and assist with federal and municipal tax withholdings; * Organize and maintain up-to-date tax documentation; * Provide support during internal and external audits; * Liaise with internal clients, suppliers, and other departments on tax-related matters. **Requirements:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields (preferably from the 5th semester onward), **or** a technical course in Accounting/Administration; * Prior experience in tax roles (accounting firms or companies); * Knowledge of tax legislation and ancillary obligations; * Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems; * Organized profile, detail-oriented, with strong time management and communication skills. **Confidential position** – further details will be provided during the selection process.
