Work within a technology and innovation ecosystem with global expansion We are looking for a **Java Backend Developer** to join the technology team of a banking-sector client, focusing on developing **scalable services and APIs** that support the bank's products. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and evolve **Java-based APIs and microservices** * Build mission-critical services for the **customer's app** * Ensure **high performance, scalability, and resilience** of applications * Participate in technical and solution architecture decisions * Integrate internal systems with external partners * Work within DevOps pipelines using CI/CD practices * Ensure code quality (unit tests, integration tests, test coverage) * Support troubleshooting and incident resolution in production * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, architecture, security) **Requirements and Qualifications** Solid experience with: * Java 8\+ (preferably Java 11 or later) * Spring Boot / Spring Cloud Experience with architectures including: * Microservices * RESTful APIs Knowledge of: * Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar) * Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) * Git (version control) Experience with practices such as: * CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) * Automated testing (JUnit, Mockito) * Cloud environments (primarily AWS, also GCP or Azure) Advantages Experience in **financial institutions or fintechs** Knowledge of: * Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) * Kubernetes / Docker * Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Experience handling high-volume transaction systems Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT) Familiarity with **Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)** **Soft Skills** Analytical thinking and problem-solving focus Proactivity and ownership mindset Strong communication and collaboration in agile teams Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, large-scale environments Continuous improvement mindset **Here, we are \#SangueLaranja!** We have been in the market for 17 years, partnering closely with our clients to deliver transformative experiences.
