




Description: MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Technical or technological course in radiology, specific to the field of practice and respective registration with the professional regulatory body. DESIRED TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Six months’ experience as an MRI technician is desirable. * Knowledge of MRI equipment operation, anatomy, pathology, and physiology. * A specialized course in magnetic resonance imaging is desirable. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Review medical examination requests and clarify doubts with the attending physician to ensure correct examination performance. Evaluate the patient questionnaire—especially for MRI—checking for possible contraindications and referring to the physician when necessary. Guide the nursing team regarding patient preparation, medication administration, and positioning. Accurately enter patient and examination data into the system. Identify and apply the appropriate protocol for each examination. Perform technical examinations according to defined protocols, ensuring image quality. Check technical conditions of equipment and report abnormalities to management. Operate MRI equipment in compliance with safety regulations. Precisely adjust and process images, including reconstructions when required. Compile images and schedule all examination phases within the system. Acquire diagnostic-quality images in accordance with quality protocols. Comply with safety regulations, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow internal standards. Support management in resolving problems and improving processes. Record environmental conditions and equipment functionality prior to examinations. Organize examination order and priority according to authorization and departmental needs. Position and instruct patients regarding the MRI procedure. Manage schedules and staffing plans to optimize examination execution. Perform daily equipment control and testing, requesting maintenance as needed. Participate in internal and external audits. Confirm examinations daily in the MV SOUL system. Apply informed consent forms and verify contraindications after questionnaire completion. Prevent room downtime by maintaining an optimized schedule.
