Job Summary: An Import Professional responsible for overseeing the entire operational import process—from cargo shipment abroad to final delivery to the customer—ensuring smooth execution and regulatory compliance. Focus on organization, attention to detail, and teamwork **Education:** * Bachelor's degree completed in International Trade, Business Administration with emphasis on International Trade, or Logistics. **Requirements:** * Experience in import operations; * Knowledge of import regulations; * Behavioral skills: Strong interpersonal communication, organizational ability, focused attention, resilience under pressure, learning orientation, and teamwork. **Responsibilities:** * Monitor the entire import operational process—from cargo shipment abroad to final delivery to the customer; * Verify shipping documents; * Assess the need for an Import License (LI); * Prepare and register the Import License (LI) and Import Declaration (DI/DUIMP); * Estimate costs associated with the operation; * Issue ICMS tax payment slips and exemption forms, perform system queries and payments via the Mercante system; * Conduct follow-up with customers and maintain contact with freight carriers, cargo agents, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure process fluidity and compliance; * Perform other duties as required within the department.
