Job Summary: The professional will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of optical fiber-based communication networks, ensuring high performance and compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Implementation and maintenance of high-performance optical fiber networks. 2. Diagnosis and resolution of optical fiber connectivity issues. 3. Technical support to customers and optimization of optical fiber networks. Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of optical fiber-based communication networks, ensuring systems operate with high performance, reliability, and in compliance with company requirements. Collaborate on regular inspections of optical fiber networks, identifying potential issues or failures. Perform physical installation of optical fiber cables at designated locations, following technical standards and specifications. Conduct optical fiber tests to verify signal quality using equipment such as OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), ensuring compliance with performance standards. Diagnose and resolve optical fiber-related issues, such as attenuation, dispersion, and connectivity failures. Perform preventive maintenance on optical fiber systems to identify and correct potential problems before they affect signal quality. Provide technical support to customers and end users regarding optical fiber network connectivity and performance, offering assistance and guidance to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with project teams in developing plans and strategies for expansion, upgrade, and optimization of optical fiber networks, contributing technical insights and expertise to new project development. Participate in internal and external training to enhance technical skills and stay updated on emerging technologies and standards. Maintain detailed records of all installations, splices, tests, and interventions performed on optical fiber systems. Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and other teams to ensure efficient integration of optical fiber systems with other components. Ensure all optical fiber-related activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Identify and label optical fibers clearly and consistently to facilitate future maintenance, system expansion, and troubleshooting.
