An IT Apprentice’s responsibilities typically combine basic technical support tasks with supervised skill development. * Basic user support (Help Desk) * Register, prioritize, and track technical support tickets. * Resolve simple software and hardware issues (Level 1 support). * Escalate more complex issues to senior technicians or analysts. * Configure and maintain workstations. * Install and configure operating systems and applications (e.g., Office suite, web browsers) on new computers. * Perform basic maintenance on PCs, laptops, and peripherals (cleaning, cable inspection, mouse/keyboard replacement). * Assist in managing hardware and software inventory. * Help resolve basic network connectivity issues (Wi\-Fi, network cables). * Assist in configuring network printers and scanners. * Help with simple file recovery procedures. * Actively participate in internal and external training programs to learn about the company’s specific systems and technologies. * Consistently seek guidance from supervisors or more experienced technicians. * Create and update simplified user manuals and procedures (e.g., How to connect to the VPN, How to configure the printer). 2512250202491935152
