




Summary: Repairs and tests mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, identifies and corrects malfunctions, and ensures work meets quality requirements. Highlights: 1. Provides product repair for mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. 2. Identifies, isolates, and corrects malfunctions using acquired skills. 3. Enhances working knowledge of the total product line. Repairs and tests mechanical and electro\-mechanical assemblies and sub\-assemblies. Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and written or oral instructions to understand and perform repair and / or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical, product and quality requirements. * Provides Repair Technician support and product repair for assigned mechanical and electro\-mechanical assemblies and sub\-assemblies. * Identifies, isolates and corrects malfunctions on assigned products through the practical application of acquired technologies and skills. * Disassembles, cleans and reassembles assigned products in conjunction with refurbishment activities. * Generates and maintains required test reports, logs, documentation and test equipment. * Reports recurring quality problems to appropriate individuals or groups. * Enhances working knowledge of the total product line and associated test diagnostics and procedures. * Uses precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges to measure component parts and assist with repair, refurbishment and related activity. Required Qualifications * Education or equivalent work experience required. * Minimum of 2\-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Repair Technician. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Experience with mechanical/electro\-mechanical assembly. * High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
