Job Summary:
An audiovisual content editor responsible for selecting, organizing, cutting, processing images and audio, and inserting graphic elements, ensuring high technical quality and adherence to deadlines.

**Description:**
**Responsibilities:**
**Audiovisual Content Editing:**
Select, organize, and cut recorded scenes to assemble programs, bumpers, and promos.
Adjust rhythm, continuity, and narrative to ensure clarity and impact in communication.
**Image and Audio Processing:**
Correct color, lighting, and contrast to enhance image quality.
Equalize, clean, and adjust soundtracks, voice-overs, and sound effects.
Synchronize audio and video in reports, audio segments, and programs.
**Insertion of Graphic Elements and Visual Identity:**
Apply bumpers, lower thirds, subtitles, logos, credits, and graphic animations.
Ensure content complies with the visual identity manual of the contracting institution.
**Finalization and Export:**
Render finalized materials in the formats and technical standards required by TV.
Organize and archive final versions for broadcast and internal archives.
**Collaboration and Workflow:**
Work closely with producers and directors to meet programming requirements.
Participate in editorial meetings when necessary to understand the tone of the report or program to be edited.
Meet tight deadlines, especially for content requiring immediate broadcast.
**Technological Monitoring:**
**Operate non-linear editing software (e.g.,** Adobe Premiere), as well as audio processing and graphics software.
Stay updated on new tools, techniques, and broadcasting standards.
**Requirements:**
Proficiency in major Adobe Creative Cloud tools, such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects.
Knowledge of art direction.
Ensure high technical quality in audiovisual production deliverables.
Possess an active DRT (Department of Labor Registration).
