Job Summary The General Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on industrial components, machines, and equipment, ensuring full functionality, operational safety, and preservation of company assets in accordance with technical, quality, safety, and environmental protection standards. Main Responsibilities * Perform mechanical maintenance on industrial components, machines, and equipment. * Plan and organize maintenance activities according to schedules and work orders. * Assess operating conditions, performance, and wear of parts and equipment. * Perform lubrication of machines, components, and tools in accordance with technical specifications. * Identify faults, conduct diagnostics, and propose corrective and preventive solutions. * Document technical information, maintenance records, inspections, and interventions performed. * Comply with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations. * Use appropriate tools, measuring instruments, and equipment for the tasks. * Maintain workplace organization and equipment preservation. * Act proactively to prevent unplanned shutdowns and operational risks. Requirements * Proven experience in industrial mechanical maintenance. * Knowledge of mechanical systems, lubrication, and equipment assembly/disassembly. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (desirable). * Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
