Use of advanced GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD Map) **Geoprocessing Coordinator Position** Strategic involvement in mining projects, focusing on technical support for environmental licensing, mining regularization, and compliance with requirements set by regulatory agencies (SEMAD, ANM, and IBAMA). • **Main Responsibilities** * Technically coordinate geoprocessing activities applied to mining projects and environmental studies; * Plan and supervise geodetic, topographic-hydrographic surveys, and geomathematical analyses oriented toward mining; * Manage the geospatial database, ensuring standardization, traceability, and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements; * Prepare, review, and validate cartographic products required in environmental licensing and mining regularization processes, including land use and occupation maps, AID/AII, drainage, slope, hilltop, legally protected areas, and mining interferences; * Develop cartographic layouts compatible with studies such as EIA/RIMA, RCA, PCA, PIA, PRAD, PAEBM, and other environmental and mining instruments; * Prepare, standardize, and make available cartographic bases and technical files received from clients for execution by internal teams; * Coordinate demands involving georeferencing, survey control, calculations, technical drawings, aerotriangulation, and GIS base compatibility; * Manage technical geoprocessing teams, assigning tasks, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring the technical quality of deliverables; * Ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines established by SEMAD, ANM, and IBAMA; * Monitor, consolidate, and present departmental performance indicators; * Serve as the technical interface with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and, when necessary, provide technical support for submissions and agency requests from environmental and mining authorities. • **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Biology, or related fields; * Active registration with the competent Regional Council for issuing ARTs (Technical Responsibility Statements); * Driver’s license category B; * Minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience in geoprocessing applied to mining and environmental licensing projects. • **Mandatory Technical Knowledge** * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Proficiency in GIS tools: QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD Map, GPS TrackMaker, and Google Earth Pro; * Knowledge of public geospatial, environmental, and mining databases; * Experience preparing cartographic products compliant with SEMAD, ANM, and IBAMA requirements. • **Desirable Qualifications** * Postgraduate degree in Geoprocessing or related fields; * Direct experience with mining environmental licensing processes; * Intermediate English proficiency. • **Behavioral Competencies** * Technical leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams; * Organization, analytical vision, and attention to detail; * Clear and assertive technical communication; * Focus on regulatory deadlines, technical quality, and legal compliance; * Proactivity, technical responsibility, and ethical conduct.
