performing control loop calibration using fixed and/or portable instruments; executing maintenance services according to service orders, using instruments to correct faults in electrical/instrumentation equipment, as well as carrying out other related tasks inherent to the position. **What are the responsibilities?** * Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and calibrate electrical/process instruments and test power, control, command, and protection systems to maintain electrical/instrumentation components in good working condition; * Perform control loop calibration using fixed and/or portable instruments, such as voltage, current, resistance, power, flow, pressure, temperature, aiming to monitor and control processes, as well as implement necessary corrections; * Execute maintenance services according to service orders, using instruments to correct faults in electrical/instrumentation equipment, ensuring their proper operation; * Report abnormalities and/or incidents observed during work hours to immediate supervisors, either through service order notes or verbally, proposing solutions that demonstrate creativity and initiative to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs; * Read and interpret electrical circuits of equipment to diagnose faults or defects in electrical equipment, low-voltage underground lines, and process instruments, making necessary modifications—using spare parts when needed—to correct them, reducing costs and increasing equipment lifespan; * Test machines or equipment after maintenance together with operations, ensuring they function perfectly under required conditions, as well as perform minor welding tasks and operate mobile equipment; * Open emergency service orders (SOs) and sign received orders, noting all irregularities found after completing the work; * Develop programs and make changes to the logic diagram of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), informing immediate supervisors of equipment modifications to facilitate future maintenance; * Evaluate repair or replacement of electrical and instrumental components, replacing them or forwarding them to electrical/instrumentation or electronics workshops; * Ensure organization, cleanliness, and hygiene of the workplace, as well as maintenance and preservation of tools and/or equipment under responsibility, keeping them in perfect working and preserved condition; * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance on company equipment and installations, including machine refurbishments and new installations, using appropriate tools to ensure proper functioning and performance of machines and equipment; * Read, interpret, and diagnose defects using schematics, drawings, catalogs, and technical analysis and evaluation of equipment, disassembling, repairing, assembling, testing, and/or replacing electrical/electronic components when necessary to apply proper corrections and eliminate failures and production line stoppages; * Perform predictive and preventive electrical maintenance on equipment through periodic inspections, checking the condition of electrical components and control panels, carrying out necessary replacements according to planning to ensure proper equipment availability; * Occasionally perform activities on telephone and refrigeration equipment; * Maintain and adapt control panels, switchboards, motors, and others; * Perform operations and adjustments on equipment, machines, and electrical installations. **What is the required education?** * Completed technical degree in Electrical, Electrotechnical, or Electromechanical Engineering. **What knowledge and skills are expected?** * Experience in corrective maintenance;
