We believe in harnessing the potential of waterways to move our resources and connect South America. **Ready to embark on this journey toward a better future with us?** We are looking for a **Junior Planning Analyst**, whose mission is to **ensure logistical planning analysis and operational control, seeking solutions for potential transportation bottlenecks, in compliance with the company’s strategic guidelines, to guarantee the optimal cost-benefit ratio across various transport modes and river corridors.** Responsibilities and Duties * Contribute to economic feasibility studies for new logistics projects, collaborating with immediate supervision for decision-making and target definition, aiming to support the company’s business results. * Identify potential bottlenecks in outbound river corridors with adequate advance notice, aiming to develop solutions or adjustments to mitigate impacts and improve logistical efficiency. * Stay updated on market best practices relevant to emerging technologies and alternative transport modes and river corridors for commodity transportation. * Manage commodity inventories at ports and transshipment terminals, ensuring required product volumes are met and contractual deadlines fulfilled. * Support compliance with HBSA standards and procedures, and safeguard company assets. * Participate in short-, medium-, and long-term logistics planning to ensure appropriate allocation of company resources. * Monitor energy efficiency data and compare against the defined outbound logistics plan, observing costs, identifying and recording any deviations, and reporting them to immediate supervisors for corrective action. * Identify potential underutilization or overloading in operational processes and conduct studies and propose solutions to balance the system. * Know and apply SSMA (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) standards and procedures. Requirements and Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Engineering, Logistics Management, or related fields. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, etc.). * Knowledge of Power BI. * Willingness to work on-site in Barcarena/PA. * Experience in logistics/planning.
