We are seeking a professional for the position of **Speech-Language Pathologist III**. Learn more: **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION** Provide outpatient and inpatient care to patients using pathology-appropriate rehabilitation techniques; guide patients and their caregivers regarding applied therapy to facilitate the patient’s reintegration into society. Refer patients to other departments or their origin when necessary, issuing specific reports. Maintain up-to-date records of provided care in patients’ medical charts. Inform attending physicians about the patient’s rehabilitation progress to support clinical decision-making. Assess patients’ clinical conditions to formulate appropriate therapeutic plans, adhering to directives from attending physicians. Select habilitation procedures, teach techniques promoting autonomy and independence in activities of daily living, aiming to improve patients’ quality of life. Collect data for developing and disseminating hospital performance indicators defined by the Quality Management System. Evaluate performance outcomes based on feedback from immediate supervisors and implement continuous improvement actions for professional and team development. Comply with occupational safety regulations and procedures during all activities, using designated personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to hospital infection control protocols and procedures. Participate in departmental and cross-departmental meetings as needed for activity planning toward achieving institutional goals. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid professional registration with the Regional Council of Speech-Language Pathology. Knowledge and/or specialization in dysphagia and language disorders. Proficiency in speech-language assessment and diagnostic techniques. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of dysfunction of speech-articulatory organs, and neurovegetative disturbances in feeding and respiration resulting from neurological sequelae. Provide guidance to family members/caregivers to ensure continuity of home-based treatment, and develop and participate in scientific studies and events related to speech-language pathology in rehabilitation. **WORK SCHEDULE** Shift: 04:48, Monday through Friday.
