Guard premises, public and private areas to prevent, control, and combat irregularities. Ensure the safety of people and property, and compliance with laws and regulations. Receive and monitor the movement of people in both freely accessible and restricted areas. Inspect people, cargo, and property; escort people and goods. **SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:** This position carries the same responsibilities as a standard security guard; however, the candidate is notified in advance and has 24 hours to confirm acceptance or rejection of the assignment. Report all incidents occurring during the surveillance period to the immediate supervisor. Monitor and control the movement and presence of people—as a security measure—as well as vehicles and material assets, performing identification and registration whenever required. Conduct company surveillance by systematically patrolling and inspecting all premises to prevent fires, thefts, unauthorized access, and other anomalies. Record incidents and actions taken during the shift in the incident logbook to inform the immediate supervisor and support decision-making to correct identified irregularities. Carry out systematic inspections and patrols throughout all areas of the security post to prevent situations that could jeopardize the integrity of the building, equipment, and the safety of staff and users.
