




* Prepare food in advance for patients, companions, and staff according to instructions from cooks and the Nutrition Technician; * Sanitize utensils; * Record equipment temperatures; * Comply with food hygiene and occupational safety standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist cooks in meal preparation, following food hygiene standards, previously specified items for patient and staff meals, and the production schedule; * Prepare coffee for breakfast and evening meals for patients, and coffee dispensers for staff; * Assist in meal preparation by washing, peeling, selecting, chopping, or grinding ingredients, and preparing simple desserts under supervision, as needed; * Monitor utensils to be used for meal distribution in the cafeteria; * Restock the cafeteria distribution counter; * Perform sanitation of departmental utensils and equipment, either at the sink or in the dishwasher; * Deliver coffee and biscuits to closed departments, Executive Management, meetings, and events; * Distribute tea, coffee, and water bottles according to the established schedule and designated locations, collecting them back at scheduled times; * Collect food samples for microbiological analysis; * Ensure personal safety by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each activity, and ensure collective safety through safe professional practices; * Carry out duties applying departmental standards and procedures; * Ensure proper storage, preservation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, instruments, and materials used, as well as the workplace; * Report any service-related incidents to the Nutrition Technician; * Perform other related tasks upon request from supervisors; * Operate food preparation and handling equipment under the guidance of the Nutrition Technician; * Remove waste from work areas at the end of each shift, separating recyclables for disposal in properly labeled bins, and disposing common waste in the designated waste chamber; * Perform weekly cleaning of kitchen equipment according to the scheduled plan. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in the field is desirable. **Additional Information** HR: 12:00 PM TO 8:20 PM 6X1 SCHEDULE **SPDM** \- São Paulo Association for Medical Development is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility (in its headquarters city), respectively by Decrees No. 57,925 of March 4, 1966; No. 40,103 of May 17, 1962; and No. 8,911 of July 30, 1970.
