Industrial Operator II – Sugar Centrifugation

Description: What do we expect from you? * Completed high school education * Technical course in Chemistry, Sugar and Alcohol is a plus * Knowledge of sugar manufacturing processes * Availability to work on a 5x1 rotating shift schedule * Agility * Proactivity * Sense of priority * Focus on results * Teamwork * Operate and monitor A-mass and B-mass boiling processes, observing process variables (concentration, vacuum, temperature, and purity) to ensure compliance with established production standards. * Guide and train all operators within your area of responsibility, as well as assist them in sugar production process activities. * Record operational parameters by completing the area-specific form to keep the system updated and support decision-making. * Monitor and ensure achievement of process efficiency indicators by participating in periodic meetings and reviewing available performance charts. * Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement teams, aiming to guarantee safety, quality, and cost indicators. * Occasionally operate sugar centrifuges to maintain continuity of the production process. * Continuously monitor the production process, controlling quantitative and qualitative process parameters, monitoring the physicochemical characteristics of materials, inputs, and products, preventing contamination or losses in the process, consulting analytical reports, entering data into production and maintenance systems—including service orders—observing and regulating machine and equipment operation, periodically inspecting facilities using control forms, identifying anomalies (e.g., leaks, breakages, vibrations, noises, overheating), and implementing corrective and preventive actions to ensure operational stability, productivity, and results. * Occasionally perform work at heights and/or in confined spaces; prior completion of a selection process and qualification training is required, adhering strictly to safety procedures. * Understand the company’s Health, Safety and Environment policy, procedures, practices, and applicable legal requirements, with the objective of communicating, controlling, and eliminating hazard sources, avoiding exposure to risks, exercising the right to refuse unsafe work whenever necessary, and contributing to waste reduction, minimization of waste generation, effluents, and atmospheric emissions. 2512190202551926904
