We are seeking a professional for the position of **Dental Office Assistant** Learn more: **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION** Request medications according to the dentist’s prescription and retrieve them from the pharmacy. Assist dentists during dental procedures by providing instruments as requested. Escort patients to the dental office after calling and identifying them in accordance with the Patient Safety Identification Protocol. Position patients on the dental procedure chair and prepare and orient them for the treatment to be performed. Ensure dental equipment and instruments are available for use, performing cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization according to technical protocols. Select and prepare impression materials for patients. Develop X-ray films, adhering strictly to defined operational and safety procedures. Record patient follow-up appointments in the scheduling control log and forward the document to reception for system registration. Collect data to support the development and dissemination of hospital performance indicators established by the Quality Management System. Evaluate personal performance outcomes based on feedback from immediate supervisors and define continuous improvement actions for professional and team development. Comply with occupational health and safety regulations while performing duties, using the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with the team in health promotion activities. Adhere to hospital infection control norms and procedures. Participate in departmental or cross-departmental meetings, as needed, for activity planning aimed at achieving institutional goals. Perform other duties assigned by management. Meet targets established by the Municipal Health Secretariat and the PIO XII Foundation Management. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** Completion of a certified Technical Course in Oral Health Assistant (OHAs).
