Job Summary:
Coordinate activities and personnel, implement new product projects, cost reduction initiatives, sustainability efforts, innovation, and process/quality improvements, analyzing performance indicators.

**JOB OBJECTIVE:**
Coordinate departmental activities and personnel and implement new product projects, cost reduction initiatives, sustainability efforts, innovation, and process/quality improvements. Interface with other departments. Analyze departmental performance indicators and propose solutions;
**EDUCATION**
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related fields;
**Required:**
Agricultural Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Chemist, or professionals from related fields
**Preferred/Differentiating Qualifications:**
Postgraduate degree in sugarcane-energy or agricultural areas, or analytical/technical experience focused on grain-based ethanol.
**Experience:**
Minimum of 3 years in the sector preferred.
**TECHNICAL SKILLS:**
Product development and formulation;
Performance testing of mill and fertilizer products;
Laboratory management;
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
Laboratory analysis;
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate quality control management within your area of responsibility;
* Be accountable for results in your area of operation through human, economic, material, and technological resources, focusing on service quality and established objectives and goals;
* Support consultants with technical information and product-related guidance;
* Conduct studies, develop and/or refine processes, equipment, and tooling, and establish process controls to ensure improved quality and higher productivity;
* Monitor audit execution to identify needs for adjustments/modifications enabling certification attainment;
* Coordinate research and development projects;
* Perform technical and economic feasibility analysis;
* Monitor legislation and technical standards;
* Monitor departmental performance indicators;
* Perform other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.
