Job Summary: The Kitchen Official supports the operational activities of the hospital kitchen, ensuring meal preparation, organization, sanitation, and distribution in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. Comply with hygiene and food safety standards **Job Description:** The Kitchen Official supports the operational activities of the hospital kitchen, ensuring proper meal preparation, organization, sanitation, and distribution, strictly adhering to the hospital’s hygiene, food safety, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) standards. **Main Responsibilities:*** Assist in food pre-preparation (sanitation, cutting, portioning, and organization); * Support chefs during meal preparation; * Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment; * Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness, including preparation areas and storage; * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food handling; * Assist in meal assembly and distribution according to diet charts; * Collect, sort, and dispose of waste appropriately; * Support inventory control and replenishment of kitchen materials and utensils; * Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with occupational safety regulations. **Requirements and Desired Profile:*** Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in hospital, industrial, or restaurant kitchens (preferred); * Basic knowledge of food hygiene and handling; * Organized, agile, and detail-oriented; * Committed, responsible, and team-oriented; * Availability to work on a 12x36 shift schedule. **Behavioral Competencies:*** Proactivity; * Discipline and adherence to routines; * Ability to work under demand and pressure; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
