Optimization of raw material usage Responsible for manually cutting materials intended for product ceilings using templates, knives, or scissors. Their mission is to ensure dimensional accuracy of parts, maximum utilization of raw materials, and compliance with established production quality standards. * **Material Preparation:** Organize and spread the material (fabric, synthetic, or leather) on the cutting table, checking for defects, stains, or irregularities before starting work. * **Template Placement:** Position templates strategically on the material to ensure **minimum waste** (nesting analysis). * **Cutting Execution:** Perform manual cutting using appropriate tools (cutting knife, utility knife, or scissors), strictly following template outlines. * **Identification and Sorting:** Group cut pieces by number, color, or batch to facilitate flow into subsequent stages (sewing/assembly). * **Quality Control:** Visually inspect cut pieces to ensure no burrs, unintended nicks, or size variations are present. * **Tool Maintenance:** Maintain and sharpen cutting tools, reporting needs for replacement or servicing.
