Backend Developer (Senior)

Job Summary: Develop and maintain scalable backend applications, design and evolve APIs, architect solutions, and optimize databases in cloud and high-availability environments. Key Highlights: 1. Solid backend experience with Java and integrations via REST/SOAP APIs. 2. Hands-on experience with AWS, messaging systems, and expertise in PostgreSQL and Redis. 3. Experience building high-availability systems handling large volumes of integrations. **Salary:** R$ 15\.000,00 to R$ 20\.000,00 **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Hybrid model **Location:** Ribeirão Preto – SP **Prerequisites:** * Solid backend experience with Java; * Integrations via REST/SOAP APIs; * Hands-on experience with AWS (SQS, SNS, S3, SES) and messaging systems (Kafka or similar); * Expertise in PostgreSQL (advanced SQL) and Redis (caching/performance); * Experience with observability (logs, metrics, monitoring); * Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and tools such as Git, Postman, and Jira; * Experience building high-availability systems handling large volumes of integrations; * Ability to evaluate trade-offs in cloud environments; * Nice-to-have: data engineering (Python, Spark, ETL), NF-e/SEFAZ, and regulatory environments. **Job Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain scalable backend applications; * Design and evolve APIs and integrations between systems; * Architect technical solutions and design patterns; * Model and optimize databases; * Monitor application performance and stability; * Conduct code reviews and support best practices; * Work in cloud environments and high-availability systems; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams; * Provide technical guidance to team members; * Document solutions and propose continuous improvements.
