Candidate information for open positions at the company during the selection process is rigorously handled in accordance with the LGPD – General Data Protection Law.* **Responsibilities and duties** * Provide technical support to junior and mid-level engineers, promoting their professional development and growth; * Develop and review quarterly mining plans, forecasts, and budgets; * Supervise and analyze planning indicators, such as adherence index and plan execution rate; * Ensure proper sequencing of sterile and oxidized deposits; * Plan, discuss, and monitor results of mining plans with the short-term planning, geology, and mine operations teams; * Support and prepare technical reports for the area, such as Reserve Reassessment Reports, Economic Exploitation Plans (PAE), Annual Mining Reports (RAL), among others; * Conduct benchmarking and propose actions for continuous improvement of indicators; * Carry out technical and economic feasibility studies for projects, identifying potential opportunities; * Participate in the budgetary and strategic planning cycle, defining assumptions and key performance indicators; * Size the fleet required for mining plans; * Comply with Safety and Health, Environment, and Social Responsibility policies and procedures; * Lead continuous improvement projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and established quality standards; * Be responsible for consolidating the technical assumptions guiding all technical work within the annual short- and medium-term planning cycle. * Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, environmental, and safety risks associated with mine operations during mining plan development. * Evaluate and implement new technologies and sustainable practices to optimize operations and reduce environmental impacts. * Develop and test mining plan scenarios for unforeseen situations, such as equipment failures, mining restrictions, and limitations in feed supply to the plant. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering; * Specialization in mine planning preferred; * Proficiency in mine planning software and Microsoft Office suite; * Advanced English proficiency preferred; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Deswik Sched, Blend, and LHS software; * Prior experience in mining planning. **Additional information** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Meal card; * Life insurance; * Health and wellness platforms; * On-site meals; * Chartered transportation. ***Vale Verde Mining is Alagoas’ first base metals company, operating an open-pit mine for copper concentrate processing.
