Job Summary: An engineering or architecture professional for BIM infrastructure modeling, supporting quality control, model updates, and interdisciplinary collaboration using software such as Civil 3D and Infraworks. Key Highlights: 1. BIM infrastructure modeling (earthwork, pavement, drainage) 2. Interdisciplinary collaboration and integration of federated projects 3. Proficiency in BIM software: Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks Execution of BIM modeling for infrastructure elements (earthwork, pavement, drainage, sanitation, tunnels) Adherence to naming conventions, coding standards, and model/file organization to ensure compliance with the CDE and contractual requirements; Production of derived 3D and 2D models, including plans, sections, profiles, quantity tables, and automated reports; Supporting internal model quality control by performing self-assessments and consistency checks—both geometric and informational—prior to submission to the BIM coordinator/specialist; Updating models according to project revisions, scope changes, or feedback from coordination; Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams by providing compatible and up-to-date models for integration into federated projects; Assisting in 4D/5D simulations by supplying accurate quantity data and linked information for planning and budgeting; Applying attribute and property information to modeled elements, as required for BIM use cases (maintenance, operations, budgeting, inspection, etc.); Reporting modeling-detected inconsistencies (constructability issues, clashes, design discrepancies) to the BIM coordinator/specialist. Education in Civil Engineering; Architecture; or Technical School in Building Construction and/or Surveying; DESIRABLE: Postgraduate degree in BIM; Experience in 3D modeling within at least one of the following sectors: infrastructure (highways, railways, drainage, sanitation); Experience in geometric modeling of basic and execution-level projects; Proficiency in key BIM software, specifically for infrastructure: Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, and Navisworks; Ability to follow modeling standards, technical regulations, and protocols defined in the BEP. Familiarity with Power BI or advanced Excel for automated reporting on quantities and modeling status; Technical English for reading software manuals and documentation.
