Build and develop the QA function from scratch **About the Opportunity** The MCSA is a law firm specializing in credit recovery and debt collection — and also a team that builds its own technological solutions: AI-powered self-service, an in-house BI tool, operational automations, and internally developed systems under continuous development. We are hiring a QA Engineer to structure and evolve the quality culture across this ecosystem. You will not be testing a single product — instead, you will work across a diverse set of solutions, each with its own nature, risks, and quality criteria. This is an environment that demands adaptability, systemic thinking, and the ability to build structure where none currently exists. **Technical Context** * Our internal team develops and maintains proprietary solutions: AI-based conversational self-service, a Python- and React-powered BI tool, process automations, and operational management systems. * Some of these solutions are already in production; others are under active development. * There is no formally established QA culture yet — you will build it together with the team. **Responsibilities** * **Test and validate deliverables:** engage with projects both in development and in production, verifying adherence to specifications and building tools, scripts, and routines for continuous monitoring. * **Design test plans:** define test scenarios, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation for heterogeneous solutions. * **Test automation:** build and maintain automated scripts for web applications, APIs, and internal/external integrations. * **Database testing:** validate data integrity, table synchronization, and consistency in critical routines. * **AI solution validation:** evaluate the behavior of conversational systems and AI agents using criteria adapted to the non-deterministic nature of such solutions. * **QAOps / CI/CD:** integrate automated validations into the deployment pipeline to ensure continuous quality. * **Reporting and traceability:** log bugs, root causes, regression history, and collaborate with the technical team to anticipate issues. **Requirements** * Proven hands-on experience in QA, with applied test scenarios and validation tools already deployed in production. * Python development for scripting, tooling, and small-scale validation projects. * Test automation using at least one tool: Selenium or Playwright. * Intermediate SQL — writing queries, validating data, and relational structures. * API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent tools. * Daily use of Git for version control. * QA best practices: traceability, bug management, and agile methodologies. **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience in Credit Recovery, Debt Collection, Call Centers, or law firms. * Validation of AI-based systems — chatbots, agents, LLMs. * CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. * Real-time quality dashboards or monitors. * Load and performance testing. * Ability to establish QA processes from scratch in teams lacking an established quality culture. **Profile** * Detail-oriented — takes pleasure in identifying inconsistencies and exercises diligence over deliverables. * Inquisitive — does not accept a delivery as \\"done\\" merely because it appears to work; validates with evidence. * Adaptable — moves seamlessly across different technical contexts, from automation to AI systems. * Communicative — reports bugs clearly, prioritizes effectively, and collaborates frictionlessly with the technical team.
